This is the exact same thing that happened to me. After many failed attempts to claim, it finally went through and it was obvious there was too much traffic on-chain so I decided to wait a little before doing anything with my tokens. Only for me to come back to Zero balance. I checked MM activity, couldn’t see anything. Went ahead to check arb scan only for me to trace that the tokens went back to the Arb Foundation.
love to go threw this
I think this happens when the arbitrary network is very slow and there are lots of errors when March 23,Please for the arbitrum foundation provide a solution for returning tokens to the sender, this is just an error
I think this proposal will pass because a large number of these people lost their tokens due to the busyness of the site on the day of calim, and due to the small number of these tokens compared to the total supply tokens, they can be obtained from the treasury.
beautiful summation, hope this gets addressed soon.
Pls arbitrum Foundation, many people have this issues
Is there any news and hope from ARB foundation with regards to this?
what do they get out of this ? Nothing so there won’t be any news
Support it and vote yes for this proposal
22 days have passed but there is nothing on social networking sites about AIP-2 really sad about Dao and about my personal carelessness
How do we make this a reality? If the network could handle the volume and we didn’t have to mad click through everything this wouldn’t have been an issue. So this should be remedied by the team. If arbitrum wants to be the chain of chain it should be able to handle that kind of volume daily.m without a hiccup. Imagine if payment transactions for sporting event or god forbid Taylor swift tickets ever came to this. It would fail miserably.
I guess the issue around the first proposal (AIP 1.0) elongated the deliberation on AIP 2.0. It will be reasonable to exercise patience as the issue is been resolved through new voting on sub-AIP 1.
You can also copy some of the lead delegates here when writing so as to get their attention, they are pro-Community.
Noboody faults wallets in eth works still like in middle age, one mistake all gone this is really not good for crypto for people and for adoption after all this year and all work on eth and not only smith or miller make it this happend same for devs and all others cheers !
Hope this one will get through
I made this mistake too
Hello @Welly, can you edit the main heading of this proposal to include AIP 2.0. something like “Proposal: AIP - 2.0 - Return Funds To ARB Users Who Sent Their Airdrop Token To ARB Token Contract Address”
@Arbitrum @TreasureDAO @olimpio @PlutusDAO @ChainLinkGod @brianfakhoury @BlockworksResearch @Layer2DAO @AlphaInsiders @litocoen
Dear Foundation members and Delegates, top of the day to you all.
Please as we approached the end of the issues surrounding AIP 1.0 through voting in AIP 1.05, AIP 1.1 and AIP 1.2 { voting on AIP 1 will end on the 18th of April- source Snapshot} I write on behalf of others affected, to ask for your quick assistance in putting forth for discussion and voting of AIP 2.0 (proposal on return of token in Token contract) which I believe is so important as so many community members are being disenfranchised from participating in governance and DAO matters. You will agree with me that the over 180,000 ARB sitting in the Token contract does not do any good to the progress of Arbitrum. Kindly help us expedite action on processing the proposal in record time so that community members affected ( including me) can partake in governance matters.
Thank you all, and as we move forward from the contentions that surrounded AIP 1.0, I believe a great community has been birthed and I also believe this DAO will be the envy of others .
Please refund it Money having thus issue
Article: The Arbitrum Foundation
The Arbitrum Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to promote and develop the Arbitrum technology, which is a layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum. The foundation was established in 2020 by Offchain Labs, the team behind the development of Arbitrum.
What is Arbitrum?
Arbitrum is a layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that aims to improve the scalability and performance of the Ethereum network. It uses a technology called Optimistic Rollup, which allows for faster and cheaper transactions while still maintaining the same level of security as the Ethereum network.
Optimistic Rollup is a layer 2 scaling solution that works by aggregating multiple transactions into a single batch, which is then verified on the Ethereum network. This allows for faster and cheaper transactions, as the majority of the computational work is done off-chain. However, if any fraudulent activity is detected, the transactions can be rolled back to their original state.
The Role of the Arbitrum Foundation
The Arbitrum Foundation was established to promote and develop the Arbitrum technology, as well as to support the community of developers and users who are building on top of it. The foundation aims to provide resources, education, and support to anyone who is interested in using or developing on the Arbitrum network.
One of the main goals of the Arbitrum Foundation is to ensure that the Arbitrum network remains decentralized and secure. To achieve this, the foundation is working on developing a governance model that will allow for community involvement in the decision-making process.
This is a job that I think is really great from the project, showing interest in each individual user, it is highly humane, and helps the user community to gain more trust, and always believe in the project , to go the long way together . LFG
