September 2024 Security Council Elections - Complete

The Security Council Election process for the September 2024 cohort is finally complete!

The grace period has ended, which means the election results have been effectuated.

Who are the new Security Council members?

1. gzeon

Gzeon is a long-time member of the Offchain Labs team as well as a leaderboard warden & judge at Code4rena. He’s been a key player in securing the Arbitrum tech stack & the wider web3 ecosystem. He has developed & maintained large portions of the Arbitrum smart contracts & participated in resolving critical blockchain security incidents.

2. John Morrow

@jmo is the co-founder of Gauntlet. He has published extensive research on DeFi risks & the security of staking systems. Having already served 1 year on the Arbitrum Security Council, this is a reappointment for John.

3. Emiliano Bonassi

Emiliano is a Rollup Product Lead at Conduit with deep expertise in Rollup tech. Having offered support to 350+ networks, he’s experienced in addressing security issues on Orbit chains. He’s actively responded to several emergencies, identified security issues in DeFi protocols & built open-source security tools.

4. Immunefi

Immunefi is a leading Blockchain security firm & a Web3 bug bounty platform. Immunefi has been working in the Arbitrum ecosystem to provide its Bug Bounty Program since Aug 2021 & was recently whitelisted as an approved Security Service Provider. The organization will be represented by Gonçalo, its Head of Security.

5. Dennison Bertram

@dennison is the CEO at Tally. He has dedicated to empowering communities to build & govern dApps collaboratively. Dennison is also a Solidity developer with a deep understanding of blockchain security principles.

6. Griff Green

@Griff is the founder of Giveth & an OG in the Ethereum, public goods funding & DAO ecosystems. Griff has significant experience in blockchain crisis response, including being involved in cleaning up the original TheDAO and Parity multi-sig hacks. He is also on multiple multi-sigs across the industry, including the ArbitrumDAO’s Multi-Sig Service (MSS).
