Hello everyone,

I’m excited about the upcoming Open Governance Call.

I’d like to request a slot on the agenda to discuss the “Burstek DAO Proposal”. As many of you are aware, our team has been diligently working on this initiative, which aims to leverage Arbitrum technology to empower and drive innovation across Africa’s tech landscape. The Burstek DAO proposal outlines a strategic framework for issuing grants to innovative projects, with a focus on fostering a robust ecosystem of decentralized applications built on Arbitrum.

Our discussion will delve into the strategic alignment with Arbitrum’s broader mission, the impact potential in Africa, and how the Arbitrum community can play a pivotal role in this groundbreaking endeavor. We believe that this initiative not only aligns with the goals of fostering global blockchain adoption but also represents a significant step towards demonstrating the practical and transformative impact of Arbitrum technology in emerging markets.

We are keen to share our vision, gather feedback, and discuss potential collaborations with the community. Your insights and support are crucial to refining and propelling the Burstek DAO forward.

Looking forward to the opportunity to engage with the community on this vital initiative.

Best regards,

Added a slot to the agenda for you.
Another good place for your to discuss your proposal is the biweekly open discussion of proposals’ call. It takes place every other Tuesday at 4 pm UTC and you can find it on the Arbitrum governance calendar.

Thanks for the slot @Sinkas

Apologies for the delay in sharing this.

For anyone who couldn’t make it to the call, below you’ll find:

The call recording: #13 Arbitrum Open Governance Call (2024-4-3) - Recording
The call’s transcript: #13 Arbitrum Open Governance Call (2024-4-3) - Call Transcript
The chat log: #13 Arbitrum Open Governance Call (2024-4-3) - Chat Log

Please note that after a request from @Pepperoni_Jo3, the part where R3gen Finance presents their report on the DAO has been removed both from the recording and its transcript (and any associated comments/questions have been removed from the chat log) as it features their work in the IFRS standard which will not match the final outputs they will ultimately share with the DAO.
