[DIP v1.0]Delegate Incentive Program Results (MAY 2024)

We are proud to announce the initial outcomes of the third month of the Delegate Incentive Program. We can now share results with the Arbitrum ecosystem.

:family_man_woman_girl_boy: May Participants

For May’s iteration of the program, 48 participants enrolled, out of which 44 met the necessary requirements to qualify.

You can see the full list here.

:gear:Parameters Breakdown

:yellow_circle:Snapshot Voting

During the month, there were a total of 40 Snapshot Votes, which were considered for the assignment of scores by SV. It is important to note that only those proposals that ended in May were counted. These are the proposals that were taken into account:

  1. 15 LTIPP Votations.
  2. 18 STIP Votations.
  3. GovHack at ETH CC (Brussels)
  4. Grant Request - Curve Finance
  5. Proposal for Approval of DeDaub as the ADPC Security Advisor
  6. Pilot Phase: M&A for Arbitrum DAO
  7. Arbitrum Multi-sig Support Service (MSS)
  8. Streamlining the LTIPP Bounties
  9. Kwenta x Perennial: Arbitrum Onboarding Incentives

:large_blue_circle:Tally Voting

For this month, there were a total of 3 Tally Votes considered for TV scoring. It is important to note that only those proposals that ended in May were counted. These are the proposals that were considered:

  1. Grant Request - Curve Finance
  2. GovHack at ETH CC (Brussels)
  3. Double-Down on STIP Successes (STIP-Bridge)

:orange_circle:Communication Rationale

As stated in our forum post, LTIPP Communication Rationales won’t be taken into consideration for this parameter.

For the CR, the published rationals of all the votes of the month were considered, taking into account Snapshot and Tally, that is to say, that to obtain the maximum qualification in this aspect a delegate had to express his rational of all the votes of the month, in other words, 28 (25 Snapshot + 3 Tally).

:red_circle:Commenting in proposals

25 proposals were considered. These proposals were the ones that went through Snapshot excluding the LTIPP proposals.

:memo:May Results

You can see the dashboard with the results implemented by Karma here.

Of all the participating delegates, 29 were eligible to receive compensation.

Total 110.808,51

:crown:Bonus Points

There were no qualified delegates to receive Bonus Points this month.

:moneybag:Costs

We track all cost data for greater transparency in our Payment Distribution Thread.

:coin:Incentives to delegates (May)

According this the results presented before the total cost destined to the delegates this month will it be 110.808,51 ARB

:question:Why haven’t they finished paying for the months of March and April?

That’s because there are some delegates that still haven’t completed their KYC process and they still remain unpaid.

When the kyc will be completed, the remaining payments will be sent to the delegates.

:new:New Members of the Program

As we said in previous posts, any delegate can apply to the program anytime.

We have two new participants that will be part of it from the next month:

:rotating_light:[CALL TO ACTION!] Dispute Period

As stated in the proposal, delegates have 2 days to express their disagreement with the results presented by the Incentive System Administrator.

To raise a dispute, delegates should do so by posting a message in the forum using the following template:

Title: Dispute

User name

Reason for dispute (please detail)

:man_student::woman_student:Conclusions

This month has been the busiest so far in terms of data collection for the Delegate Incentive Program. We are delighted to see how delegate activity has evolved, demonstrating increased engagement and participation in governance processes.

Given the high volume of Communication Rationales (CR) collected this month, we acknowledge the possibility of errors. We invite all delegates to double-check our table (link tabla publica) their recorded CRs to ensure accuracy.

Here you can see all the information related to CP and CR.

If you want to give any feedback, don’t hesitate to do it in this thread.

Great job!
I was so close to receive compensation.
Keep going!

Hi, good work,
however, I see that all delegates recieved about 0 point for CP (COMMENTING PROPOSAL)

As for me, I commented on all the proposals (25) this month, but I see that you only counted 5 out of 25

Please, count all of our point for commenting correctly.

Hey @cp0x Thank you for let us know this, we double- checked and updated your score. Have in mind that we just considered the high impact comments as we expressed here.

Thanks again! Have a great day!

Hi @SEEDGov! Thanks for managing and organizing the program. Great work!

It’s a very minor one, but…

Dispute: a calculation of our CR

Reason for dispute: Missing count for our comment on the Curve proposal as below.

Hey! thanks for reaching us.

Actually, that comment was counted on our calculations as one of the Tally’s Communication Rationales. You can check it in our public table.

The Missing CR is the Rationale from that Snapshot Votation.

Understood, thanks for clarification!

Thanks for the update @SEEDGov

As an FYI, @WinVerse are both part of the DAOplomats delegation, so we’d like to request you to consider either of our comments while making your calculations

hey, why are there only 5 delegates opted-in this month?

I think it’s because they don’t finish previous month yet

Looks it was updated! thanks sir!

I don’t see any updates, but we have enough time

In accordance with the accepted proposal, payment to delegates must be made no later than the 14th.
And given that 11 days have passed since the report (and there are only 2 days for the dispute), the delay in payments to delegates is unclear.

Please update it in your application.

Hi, maybe someone can help me to understand what exactly has to be done to be added to the incentive program.

This is what I did:

Is there anything else im missing?

Appreciate your help :handshake:

Nothing else, but you don’t need to setup Karma Tally and so on…
I just need to participate in community and voting
