Nerite's "Winning Together Campaign" rewards Arbitrum DAO.

Overview

Nerite Protocol will be kicking off its Winning Togethers Campaign in early 2026, an initiative designed to align long-term incentives between Nerite and the ecosystems that helps secure and grow it. The goal is to further create a system where Nerite wins when Arbitrum wins, and vice versa.

Key Points

  • 3,000,000 NERI to Arbitrum DAO Treasury
As part of the campaign, the Arbitrum DAO treasury will be allocated 3,000,000 NERI governance tokens, representing 3% of total NERI supply.
NERI is expected to launch in early 2026. Tokens will be sent directly to the treasury and no action is required from the DAO.

  • Aligned, Long-Term Incentives
Nerite is deeply dependent on the long-term security and governance quality of Arbitrum, which in turn depends on the DAO making sound decisions around ecosystem stewardship, treasury management, and upgrades to Arbitrum (the network). This campaign is designed to hard-code that shared destiny into governance and economics.

  • Governance Participation
The NERI DAO is an active delegate in Arbitrum DAO governance, reinforcing this alignment beyond token incentives. Next it will be possible for Arbitrum DAO, if it chooses to, to participate in NERI governance without taking significant financial burden on up front.

  • Potential Long-Term Revenue Path
Nerite can eventually become a sustainable revenue stream for the Arbitrum DAO. The protocol enables users to borrow against ARB.
If the DAO chooses to make use of Nerite down the line for treasury management, this campaign ensures that a portion of the value created flows directly back to the DAO itself.

Congrats on the upcoming NERI launch - and it’s great that you’ll allocate part of the supply to the Arbitrum DAO!

I just checked the NERI smart contract, I see it will use Aragon’s GovernanceERC20 smart contract. I’m not that familiar with current Aragon’s contracts, but it says that it’s compatible with OpenZeppelin’s ERC20Votes. So technically voting would also be possible on Tally, correct?
