Arbitrum DAO Social Media Group 31 July UPDATE
We have succesfully managed to draft our proposal and are sharing it with the delegates and contributors for feedback atm.
TL;DR
- Our “mission” was to collaboratively learn what the DAOs needs are and we did(at least partially and from a part of the DAO)
- Our telegram channel has grown to 20 members of which a couple are running Arbitrum community accounts that constantly help us amplify our messaging.
- The Arbitrum DAO X account has grown from 250-> 380 followers(but hard 2 track if only we impacted here because it’s commonly managed) and drafted/shared over 100 pieces of content.
- Introduced new branding for the account(which will be used on other socials as well).
- We are created a hybrid bounty/point system to track contributions going forward.

Our active working group is composed of:
ZER8- Gandalf(team lead)
Coffee Crusher - Content creator and marketer
Haier - Marketing research
Rene -Graphic design
Eren - Social media strategy advisor
Some accomplishments of the Social Media Fellowship:
- Hosted 9 open calls.
- Created a survey to learn how to best provide value to Arbitrum DAO. The form and the results are shared here.
- We did a small competitor analysis on a couple of DAOs and L2s
- We created a content calendar and created/shared over 100 pieces of original content.
As part of our strategic approach to enhancing the visibility and engagement on X, our team has started submitting a variety of content ideas. This includes news updates, reminders about upcoming proposals, and updates on DAO activities.
- New Logo and Banner for the Arbitrum DAO account
Our group has collaboratively brainstormed a new logo to better represent the Arbitrum DAO, aiming for a design that clearly aligns with Arbitrum’s branding while distinctly emphasising our identity as a DAO and moving away from the AI-generated appearance of the current logo.

*It is important to note this was a bottoms-up bottoms up effort - the contributors were selected by the Arbitrum Onboarding Group and never worked together prior to this effort. The Gandalf of the group had the role of coordinating and guiding them for the past three months using a bottoms-up and collaborative approach.
