Parameters Breakdown

Snapshot Voting

During the month, there were a total of 9 Snapshot Votes, which were considered for the assignment of scores by SV. It is important to note that only those proposals that ended in October were counted. These are the proposals that were considered:

  1. [Non-Constitutional] Whitelist Infura Nova Validator
  2. Research on context and retention
  3. An EIP-4824 powered daoURI for Arbitrum DAO
  4. LTIPP Retroactive Community Funding Selections
  5. Establishing a DAO Events Budget for 2025
  6. (V2) Arbitrum Research & Development Collective
  7. [Non-Constitutional] Arbitrum Token Swap Pilot Program
  8. GCP Council Re-Confirmation Vote for Tim Chang
  9. GCP Council Re-Confirmation Vote for John Kennedy

Tally Voting

For this month, a total of 7 Tally Votes were considered for TV scoring. It is important to note that only those proposals that ended in October counted. It’s important to clarify that proposals with the tag [CANCELED] are not counted for DIP. These are the proposals that were considered:

  1. UPDATED - Ethereum Protocol Attackathon Sponsorship
  2. [NON-CONSTITUTIONAL] Arbitrum DAO Procurement Committee: Phase II Proposal
  3. Constitutional AIP - Extend Delay on L2Time Lock
  4. [Non-Constitutional] Funds to Bolster Foundation’s Strategic Partnerships Budget
  5. ArbitrumDAO strategic “Off-site” (online) updated proposal
  6. Enhancing Multichain Governance: Upgrading RARI Governance Token on Arbitrum
  7. Fund the Stylus Sprint

Communication Rationale

For the CR, the published rationals of all the votes of the month were considered, taking into account Snapshot and Tally, that is to say, that to obtain the maximum qualification in this aspect a delegate had to express his rational of all the votes of the month, in other words, 16 (9 Snapshot + 7 Tally).

Commenting in proposals

The 9 Snapshot proposals were considered.

Additional Note

Delegate Incentive Program Proposals will not be considered for incentives, so we won’t consider the Delegate Incentive Program for this month’s results.

October Results

You can see the dashboard with the results implemented by Karma here.

Of all the participating delegates, 38 were eligible to receive compensation.

Reason for dispute (please detail): Hello @SEEDGov, it seems that my October CP points were not counted for this month, I participated in all the project votes and expressed my personal opinion on the proposals. However, I see that my CR score is very low and my CP is 0. I found my relevant proposal comments and opinions and it looks like I need to write a special thread to keep track of them for future management.

@Vertex_Protocol

We’re missing 5 rationales on the sheet which we believe are posted in this comment. We did cut it a bit close but if we’re adjusting for timezones properly we think this should have been within the window. Apologies if we’re not understanding something or did the math wrong!

Voted for all the proposals and have participated in posting my personal opinions, all provided comments, why is the CR so low and the CP is 0. Just came to the newcomer, a lot of do not understand the situation, please forgive me!

I wrote a poll thread of mine that gives more detailed data.

Reason for dispute (please detail) In response to my CP and CR I have some questions.
**Regarding the significantly low CP points and the 0 CR score, I want to clarify that I carefully reviewed each proposal before voting, actively participated in discussions, and expressed my personal opinions throughout the process. I would like to kindly request a detailed explanation for these assessments to better understand the reasoning behind them.**So my contention is that I didn’t take into account my deserved points。
In the meantime I have written up each of my proposals and opinions in my thread. I hope that helps me scrutinize them.

Reason for dispute: I participated in every vote and made a comment for every snapshot vote or tally vote. I made a comment in the corresponding thread, linked my comment in every vote in the comment section and also posted a summary of my activites in my personal delegation communication thread

  1. Comment for snapshot vote "An EIP-4824 powered daoURI for Arbitrum DAO " has not been taking into account.
See here for my comment: An EIP-4824 powered daoURI for Arbitrum DAO - #34 by EzR3aL

  2. Comment for snapshot vote Establishing a DAO Events Budget for 2025 has not been taking into account.

  3. Comment for snapshot vote GCP Council Re-Confirmation Vote for John Kennedy has not been taking into account.

Reason for dispute: CR’s not taken into account

  1. [NON-CONSTITUTIONAL] Arbitrum DAO Procurement Committee: Phase II Proposal

  2. Constitutional - Extend Delay on L2Time Lock (On Aug 30 I edited the post to include CR for Snapshot. On Sept 27 I edited the post to include CR for Tally. Next time I’ll make new replies/posts instead of just editing the initial comment.)

  3. ArbitrumDAO Off-site - Directional proposal

Reason for dispute:

Unfortunately, it is impossible to determine from the Karma table exactly which comments were not included in those that are taken into account when calculating.
Therefore, I will have to send a list of all comments, and you can tell me which were not taken into account/got lost.
If you think that some of my comments are also not useful, please write as well:

  1. AIP: Whitelist Infura Nova Validator - #15 by cp0x
I find it useful that I found out that Infura is not officially a DAC participant.
  2. Research on context and retention - #68 by cp0x
I had several comments, but I think this one is useful to close the dialogue about the possibility of access to open data.
  3. Team #6: An (EIP-4824 powered) daoURI for the Arbitrum DAO - #28 by cp0x
Since this proposal was voiced earlier at GovHack Brussels, you may not have taken my comments into account.
  4. LTIPP Retroactive Community Funding - #10 by cp0x
I was one of the participants who applied for this grant, so I have a comment.
  5. Establishing a DAO Events Budget for 2025 - #19 by cp0x
Here I asked a practical question about ARB conversion, and it was not the only comment.
  6. [NON-CONSTITUTIONAL] - Arbitrum Research and Development Collective [Term 2] - #10 by cp0x
This is one of the most discussed topics, so I had a lot of questions.
  7. Proposal [Non-Constitutional] Arbitrum Treasury Token Swap Program - #26 by cp0x
This proposal was submitted twice, so you may not have seen my comment in the original version. By the way, my comments influenced the final version for voting.
  8. There wasn’t much to discuss here.
  9. Reconfirmation of GCP Council Appointees - #11 by cp0x
I wrote questions about the previous member of the committee, why he left and had personal correspondence with John Kennedy about this. Also in my thread I expressed my opinion that there are other members who did not get into the board, although they received more votes in the earlier voting.

So I think I definitely have 8 useful comments out of 9.

Reason for dispute (please detail): We have two disputes.

  1. We communicated rationale for every vote in October but you say we missed two. Please check here to see where we linked every one of our vote rationale in October to their topic.
  2. We didn’t get any points for commenting. Please see our notable comment under the token swap discussion here.

Hi all,

@Vertex_Protocol, your CR has been updated with the Communication Rationales.

@JamesKBH the missing CR and CP have been updated.

@Ezr3al, your score has been updated. It’s important to note that the Ethereum Protocol Attackathon Sponsorship rationale has not been considered since your comment corresponds to the Snapshot phase of the proposal.

@0xTALVO.ETH_MTY, those Rationales that you mention as ‘valid’ correspond to the Snapshot phase of the proposal. Those comments were already counted last month when the proposal was on Snapshot, and no rationales for the on-chain votes were submitted. You can check for more info in the September Public Table.

@0xdonpepe, your CR has been updated.

That would be great since the Forum doesn’t notify users when a post is edited, and it’s easier to miss it.

@argonaut, your CR has been updated

@daoplomats, your CR has been updated. About CP, given the context in which the comment was published (during the middle of Snapshot) and considering that other users had already commented on the content of the Commenting in Proposal, we decided not to consider it a High-Impact comment.

@Cp0x:

1- was already counted

2- was already counted

3- since the question was important and triggered the answer of the proposer, we’ll count it.

4- since your comment was intended to receive financial compensation, we decided not to consider it.

5- since the questions were important and triggered the answer of the proposer, we’ll count it.

6- was already counted

7- was already counted

9- This is more of a Communication Rationale than a Commenting in Proposals so it won’t be considered as CP.

Remember that you can always check our Public Table. In the sheet ‘Forum Comments’ you can find every member’s contribution. The ‘1’ represents Communication Rationales and the ‘2’ represents Commenting on Proposals.

Hey sers, I completed the all communication rationale requirements for all snapshot and tally voting, but my CR scores is only 23.44. Here is my October Voting Summary, please check and I’m looking forward to your feedback!

Seems that you didn’t count me on UPDATED - Ethereum Protocol Attackathon Sponsorship, as I finished voting at the end of Septenber.

And I’ve actively commenting on every proposal and inspired more thoughts, but why do I only have 6.67 CP scores and where can I view the Oct Public Table? I can only find the Sep one. Thank you very much!

Hi Larva!

Unfortunately, Dispute Period has ended.

After the publication of these results, the delegates will have a period of 2 days to present any dispute, in case they disagree with the amounts or the selection made.

Delegates have a 2-day window to dispute if they disagree with the results presented by the Incentive System Administrator.

Hey, no worries. I realized this too late. Thanks!

Thanks for the context, SEEDGov.

I see the CR has been updated on Karma. Just following up to confirm when the update in the actual October Results will be made.

Hi @SEEDGov - Could you clarify what led to the 2-week delay in distributing the payment compared to the original commitment to do so between the 15th and 16th of the month?

What steps can be taken to prevent this from happening again in the future?

Thanks!
